Talking to all Sandbergers!

We are a group of students in the process of reactivating the former trans-departmental Sandberg initiative called PUB.

PUB functions as a hub and (experimental) publishing platform to identify interdisciplinary connections and accelerate collaborations amongst Sandberg students, alumni and third parties. PUB would fill a current absence of coming-together, both physically and digitally, within departments as well as between Sandberg and Rietveld. PUB already holds a framework of channels that cover TV, PUBcast, Type Lab, Journal and printed matter through their website, that we have access to.

To rebirth and republish PUB, we need new brains, new hands and new ideas. In short, new people! PUB was always supposed to be a collective framework and a connection between departments and we want to rejuvenate its spirit! It’s a space for everyone to experiment and share, and it welcomes any kind of involvement.

We're happy to say that the Student Council granted us the Fall funding, to organise two assemblies and an official launch. During these first two meetings we can start organizing a new structure for PUB, set new intentions as a collective, and plan towards the launch party that will be held on school ground on the 28th of November. The assemblies are fun, hands-on and we generally hope to inspire collectivity, as experimental publishing as a practice. The assemblies feature a workshop and talk on these matters.
