RE(mix→shuffle→match) ✰ ✰ ✰ Radio Workshop and transmission

⋆｡°✩ For our first transmission of the season, we are attuning ourselves to the theme of remixing, in every shape, form, distortion, and amplification this could take.

This workshop and transmission is envisioned as an opportunity to get hands-on experience with the technical side of radio-making; an open platform for you to discuss your favorite soundcloud nightcore remixers, deep dive into a niche subculture of soundscape remixing, tell a story about a crappy soundsystem that sounded like chalk on a whiteboard, perform a live remix on a Nintendo DS, play a DJ set comprised solely of Calvin Harris remixes, conduct an interview with a shapeshifter, showcase the secret cringe-worthy software you use for remixing, + everything else you can think of.

During the workshop segment of this event, and alongside participants, we set-up a radio station step-by-step, craft the segments for the broadcast, and we go live on PUB’s server in an open door live listening session at the end of the day (17:00–19:00).
